Sara (1902)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the spritsail rigged general cargo barge Sara (1902) under sail in the Thames or Medway estuary during the Thames or Medway Barge Match. She is on the port tack and has her race number 7 flag on her starboard shrouds. The wind is strong from the north-north-east and she is throwing up considerable spray from her bow.
