Pirnmill, Island of Arran

A rowing boat filled with passengers landing
on the beach at Pirnmill on the west coast of the Island of Arran. The boat is called a ferry, but appears to be a tender for picking up passengers from passing steamers. Photographs taken by Miss Macfee show the boat's activities in 1910 and 1924 (see also N30088 and N30645-N30647).
