Captain la Penotiere [Lapenotiere] H.M.S. Pickle. Silhouette
Print. If this is really a 'photo' it cannot be from the life at least: so is it a reproduction and if so of what date? If original it is much more likely to be some form of silhouette. John Richards Lapenotiere, 1770-1834, brought home Collingwood's Trafalgar dispatches to England as lieutenant in command of the schooner 'Pickle', landing at Falmouth and posting to London.
