Tenasserim (1872)
A quarter plate negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the troopship Tenasserim (1872) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged as a barquentine with three yards on her foremast and has a black painted hull. She has a union jack, a pilot flag at the mizzen and a red or blue ensign at the stern. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G2066 and G2089 were taken on the same occasion. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print made from whole plate negative number G2066.
