On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger liner and cruise ship Chusan (1950) at anchor off Algiers, Algeria. The photographer is looking aft from the starboard side of the boat deck just forward of the bridge wing. The ship has floodlights over the side to illuminate the hull at night. A vertical format negative, the centre of which is badly affected by reticulation.
