        The Type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in No. 8 dry dock in Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth.  The ship was in the dock from 5 August to 7 September 1971.  The photographer is on the floor of the dock looking up at the 4 inch diameter pitometer log aperture between 30 and 31 stations on the port side of the hull.
