On board the United States Navy aircraft carrier Saratoga (1955) while under way in the Mediterranean. The photographer is on the port side of the island looking to port, down and aft showing the Grumman C1-A Trader carrierborne onward delivery aircraft 136789 with wings folded in the foreground. A portable mirror landing system is on the starboard side of the centreline and the Douglas A4-C Skyhawk coded 602 has caught a wire landing on.
