The photographer is on board the attack transport Monrovia (1942) looking to starboard and aft showing very little of the Altair (1944) except for her aft cargo mast and the Sikorsky HUS-1 utility helicopter serial 145725 of HU-4 Squadron hovering above her helicopter deck. The attack transport Rockbridge (1944) APA 228 is to starboard of the Altair (1944).
