A slightly distant port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the U.S. Navy dock landing ship Lindenwald (1943) at anchor off a hilly coastline in the Mediterranean during the 6th Fleet exercise Steel Link 1. The stern doors are partly open and she has a boat boom and scrambling net rigged on the port side. The photographer is on board the minesweeping launch MSL 7 (1958).
