The rig is off the east coast of Scotland and the photographer is on board the Royal Navy Type 12 frigate Rothesay (1957) during a 200 mile zone patrol. He is on the starboard side at 01 deck level looking aft showing the motor whaler in its davits in the foreground. A vertical format negative.
