Shipping at Dakar, Senegal.
Shipping at Dakar, Senegal. On the right and seen from ahead of her starboard beam is the passenger/cargo liner Anfa (1903) alongside a finger jetty. At anchor in the harbour is the passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925), seen from just abaft her port beam. Her number 2 boat is in the water under its falls and number 16 boat is away from the ship. She has a windsail rigged aft and her upper promenade deck is open railed for its entire length. In the distance near the bow of the Gripsholm (1925) is a floating dock, presumably in transit. On the left are two unidentified cargo ships at moorings.
