Wharves on the north-west side of Oslo Harbour, Norway. In the centre is the fruit wharf of Matthiessen's Bananmodneri and to the right is a grandstand with Stange Bygningsartikler to the north of it. Under way in the foreground is a small passenger motor launch and the steam passenger ferry Graesvik III (fl. 1930). Beyond these two vessels are a small tug and the icebreaking salvage tug Bamse (1924). In the background is the steeple of the Uranienborg Church.
