The town and harbour at Reykjavik, Iceland.
The town and harbour at Reykjavik, Iceland. The photographer is looking north-east from high ground over the rooftops of the town to the harbour. A new block of flats is in the centre foreground and a large commercial building has been completed close to the harbour. Four passenger/cargo ships are alongside the wharves and trawlers are alongside the breakwater. The coal transporter is on the right. The Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) is at anchor outside the breakwater. She is seen from just ahead of her starboard beam and her forward accommodation ladder is deployed.
