The waterfront in the Norrmalm district of Stockholm, Sweden.

The waterfront in the Norrmalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. The photographer is looking east-by-south from the Stromgatan showing five open fishing boats moored bow-on to the quay. Each boat has a boom over the stern from which a net is suspended. Passenger ferries including the Skargarden (1907), Vaxholm I (1899) and Express I (1900) are berthed alongside the Sodra Blasieholmskajen. The name on the bridge front of the Vaxholm I is shown as Waxholm I. The Grand Hotel is on the left and the National Museum is on the right.
