A slightly distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor off Constantinople, Turkey. An accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft and a pontoon landing stage is alongside it. In the background beyond her bow is the white rectangular castellated building with a square tower surmounted by a lookout position which is topped with a tall narrow spire or mast and is known as the Maiden's Tower.
