Letters from F. Maderny about his time in the Secret Service

The first letter is asking for a meeting, the second letter is in response to the meeting request being declined: He explains the circumstances of being recruited into the Secret Service by Gideon Duncan, the Vice Consul and John Fitzpatrick. He ended up onboard the LYDIA where he was robbed by Fitzpatrick and thought he was going to die. He asks Nepean for compensatory payment after suffering for the British Government.
