The waterfront at George Town, Penang, Malaysia. The photographer is on a boat in the harbour looking west at the buildings on the Pengkalan Weld. A number of single masted sailing vessels line the waterfront. The buildings include the premises of T.S. Gampatham Godown and the East Asiatic Company Ltd. Negatives numbers PM1912/2 to PM1916/26 were taken on the same day.
