The waterfront at George Town, Penang, Malaysia. The photographer is on a boat in the harbour looking west at the buildings on the Pengkalan Weld. A number of single masted sailing vessels line the waterfront. The buildings include the premises of the Borneo Company Ltd., T.S. Gampatham Godown and the East Asiatic Company Ltd. Negatives numbers PM1912/2 to PM1916/26 were taken on the same day.
