Virago (1842)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the upper deck, originally for the Driver class paddle sloop Growler but corrected for Virago (1842). The plan bears the signature of Sir William Symonds [Surveyor of the Navy 1832-1847].The drawing also shows alterations in green ink made at Sheerness Dockyard dated September 1861. A note on the drawing written in red ink states "See sketch of the 13th August 1841 copies for the Virago Works in the Engine Room and the Engines by Messrs Boulton & Watt dated 19 October 1841".
