Virago (1842)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the lower deck, originally for the Driver class paddle sloop Growler but corrected for Virago (1842). The plan bears the signature of Sir William Symonds [Surveyor of the Navy 1832-1847].The drawing also shows alterations in green ink made at Sheerness Dockyard dated September 1861. A note on the drawing states that the engines were built by Messrs Boulton & Watt and further alterations to the engine spaces are shown in the black dotted lines on the plan.
