A starboard broadside view of the tanker Elena (1969), being fitted out at Kawasaki, Japan. Elena has a black funnel with the symbol of the Niarchos Group shipping company. The symbol consists of a large 'N' with blue, red and white stripes A jetty with a crane on is on Elena's starboard side. The far bank of the dock with buildings and storage tanks is in the background. This is Slide 4 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor tanker Halcyon Days (1958), owned by Court Line Limited, from 5 October 1969 to 16 February 1970. This series contains 10 slides.
