A cargo of screened stone being discharged off the sand suction dredger Sand Swan (1971) berthed in Bruges, Belgium. The photographer is standing on the port side just forward of the bridge looking down and slightly to starboard. This is Slide 17 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as supernumerary Second Officer on board the sand suction dredger Sand Swan (1970) and eventually Chief Officer on the sand suction dredger Sand Skua (1971) owned by the South Coast Shipping Co. Ltd. from 6 May 1973 to 27 June 1973.
