The Royal Naval Exhibition at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London in 1891
The Royal Naval Exhibition at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, ran from 2 May to 24 October 1891. This is the Crusoe's Island: Rifle Sports pavilion of J Lyons & Co Ltd. on the south side of the site near the Embankment. On the left is the 'Model Working Dairy'. On the right is a gallery to which the admission charge is 3d and the sign over the entrance reads "Realistic reproductions of British Dependencies and living portraits of famous naval commanders". A copy negative produced by the NMM Studio of a mounted photographic print contained in Photograph Album No. ALB1386.
