A close detail of the damaged stem of the destroyer Sabre (1918) taken from the starboard beam at the side of the dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. Note the swastika symbol on one of the flukes of her anchor. The Sabre (1918) suffered bow damage in collision with the tug Conqueress (1913) on 21 Jul. 1936. Vertical format.
