Gun lifting arrangements on board the light cruiser Dunedin (1918) in No. 12 Dry Dock, Portsmouth, Hampshire
On board the light cruiser Dunedin (1918) in No. 12 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, looking aft from the port side abreast her forefunnel at forecastle deck level. Her port 4-inch QF Mk V gun barrel has been fitted with a stop-end collar at the muzzle which is joined to shackles, an adjustable screw connector unit and wire strop eyes. The whole underslung unit is tied up to barrel with string at five points.
