Looking north-north-west across Vernon Creek to Building 55 (Vesuvius) and Building 56 (Mohawk) on Gunwharf, Portsmouth. On the right on the cleared site of Building 57 (Dido) is a temporary scaffold tower used for drying hoses and a salvage equipment yard. A wingless and tail-less Grumman Avenger TBM aircraft is to the right of Building 55.
