On board the heavy repair ship Ranpura (1924) during her fitting out in Portsmouth Dockyard. In the Coppersmiths Shop on D Deck looking to starboard from the port side in way of frame 132 and showing the main floor of the shop below on E Deck. A Holroyd pipe flange facing and drilling machine is in the left foreground with pipe storage racks beyond. A Murray & Paterson 4½ inch pipe bending machine is in the centre foreground and beyond the bending slab is a Fielding 8 inch pipe bending machine.
