A close view of the hull of the tanker Nord Atlantic (1938), dried out in No. 15 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, during her reconstruction, taken from the bottom of the dock looking aft along the port side from frame 170. All of the new or faired wing frames are in place. A new hull plate is held in position by a rope and pulley system.
