On board the stores issuing ship Fort Beauharnois (1944) in No. 14 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, looking aft and down from the midship superstructure into No. 4 hatch. A packing case in a cargo net slung from a derrick is overhanging the edge of the hatch. One man is standing in the hold, four men are by the side of the hatch, one man is sitting on a companionway and two men are at the winches. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register lists this group of three negatives as "Accident in 14 Dock on Fort Beauharnois".
