Inside the former tank deck of the experimental atomic and biological research ship Ben Lomond (1945) during her refit in Portsmouth Dockyard looking outboard into a storeroom fitted with a scuttle. The compartment is lined with steel framed wooden shelving. On the bottom shelf there appears to be bundles of partly wrapped candles. There are stacks of tins stored horizontally on the top shelf, those on the left being marked "10 ml grad to tip" and the ones on the right marked "1 ml 2 mark". Vertical format.
