The submarine Sentinel (1945) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. A close view looking up at a circular plate bolted onto the hull. The plate is held in position by 10 bolts fitted with locking nuts and there is a threaded hole in the centre of the plate. The protective grill has been removed.
