A starboard bow view of the ‘President’, viewed from below, caught on a large wave in a storm with her sheets chaotically blowing in the wind. The sun can be glimpsed on the horizon at upper left. Coloured lithograph by Fairland, after William J. Leatham. Very similar to a lithograph by Nathaniel Currier (PAH0221).
