Ship's bell
Ship's bell from HMS 'Romola' 1916. The bell has a 10 11/16 inch mouth diameter. It has a recessed inscription on the waist painted black: ' H.M.S. RAMOLA 1916'. It has a solid argent with six canon, apparently to a standard Admniralty pattern. Cast-in crown staple with top of wrought iron clapper hooked over. It has a hole in flight, with lanyard fitted. The tone is quite fair.
