Rummer with a rounded funnel bowl and folded foot, the stem a series of ball and flattened knops, the centre one is hollow. Wheel-engraved with a profile portrait within a laurel wreath, above: 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON' and eight ships of the line. Inscribed around the rim: 'ENGLAND EXPECTS THAT EVERY MAN THIS DAY WILL DO HIS DUTY.'
