HMS Centaur (1947); Warship, Aircraft carrier
Scale: 1:1200. A waterline model of HMS Centaur (1947), an aircraft carrier. The model is made from die-cast metal and has a black plastic radar mast fitted into a slot on the superstructure. The hull and upperworks are painted a blue-grey, and the funnel top and other equipment black gloss. Three parallel white lines are painted on the deck to denote an angled flight deck, and there are two transfers ('C') fore and aft. The underside is inscribed: 'H.M.S. Centaur M.752'. The model is stored in its original box.
