Seekreiselsextant
The sextant has a casing of aluminium and artificial materials, housing optical equipment, a clockwork averaging mechanism, electrical equipment, and a rubber eyecup. The instrument has four index shades, three grey and one red.
The instrument has a scale measuring from 0° to 80°, by 30 arcminutes, and a vernier measuring to 1 arcminute.
The sextant is contained in a square fitted wooden carrying box, containing a detached handle, an electric adaptor, six light bulbs, a battery, which is now missing, electric wire and instructions for use in German on the inside of the lid.
