Pistol
Sea Service pistol with a walnut stock which is fully stocked to the muzzle. The pistol is fitted with a brass trigger guard and a brass butt cap. A single brass ramrod pipe is fitted with a wooden ramrod with a brass tip. The pistol also has a steel trigger with a slight backward curl. A steel belt hook is attached to the stock. The pistol also has a flintlock sidelock and a circular barrel which is smoothbore. The calibre is 0.56in. The lockplate is inscribed with 'TOWER Crown' over the letters 'GR'. The barrel is decorared with a crown over the letters 'GR' which are in turn over an anchor. The stock bears the inscription 'II P' under a crown, while there is a crown over an anchor which in turn is over the date '1806'.
