Pistol
Percussion pistol. The stock is made of walnut and is fitted with a broad brass trigger guard and flat brass butt cap to which is fitted a lanyard ring. Brass fore-end cap and ramrod pipe. Iron swivel ramrod enters the stock via the pipe. The pistol has a sidelock with a missing percussion. The barrel is circular and fitted with blade foresight. The calibre is 0.75in. Inscribed on the lockplate are the words 'Crown TOWER' and the date '1874'. Also stamped on the weapon is the number '25'.
