Copper nail from H.M.S. 'Nile'
A copper nail from the ship of the line H.M.S. 'Nile' (later renamed H.M.S. 'Conway'). It is round in section with a cross shaped point. With label inscribed 'Copper nail from the 'CONWAY' late 'NILE' 2nd rate 4375 tons 2 deck gun frigate lent to the MERCANTILE MARINE SERVICE ASSOCIATION stationed at Rock Ferry Birkenhead'.
