Royal/ceremonial vessel; Small craft; Royal pulling barge
Scale: Unknown. Full hull model of the 36 ft Royal pulling barge carried aboard the Royal yacht Victoria and Albert III (1899). Fitted with thwarts, backboard and buoyancy tanks inside the gunwale as the barge could be used as a lifeboat. Backboard wrongly inscribed 'Model of Great Eastern lifeboat.'. External hull area painted black with gold painted rubbing strake. Deck and internal hull area unpainted. Thwarts and backboard detached, rudder missing, stem head loose and partially missing. Original decoratively shaped baseboard with integral mounts.
