A starboard bow view, taken from across the quay wide off the bow, of the cargo liner Coptic (1928) alongside a berth in the Western Docks at Southampton. Only the forepart of the ship as far aft as the funnel is in the picture and the superstructure is partly obscured by quayside crane number 21. She is flying her company house flag from the jackstaff.
