Shell damage suffered by HMS Warspite at Jutland

A close view of the starboard side of the forecastle deck amidships, showing damage suffered by HMS Warspite (1913) on 31 May 1916 during the Battle of Jutland. The damage to this area was caused by the passage of a 12 inch shell which burst inside the shelter deck and caused the damage shown in N16503 and N16506.
