Medal commemorating Admiral Andrea Doria (1468-1560). Obverse: Bust of Admiral Andrea Doria in armour mantled (right), a small trident behind (left). Legend: 'ANDREAS DORIA P . P .' Reverse: Starboard broadside view of a galley, single sail furled. This is said to have been struck by Leoni in gratitude to Admiral Doria for his liberation from the galleys.
