        Medal commemorating the Battle of the Nile, 1798. Obverse: The Admiral's bust, front view, head, three-quarter left. Full uniform, ribbon over right shoulder, Star, and medal round neck. The empty right sleeve pinned up.  Legend: 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON OF THE NILE.' Below: 'BRITAINS GLORY & DEFENCE.' Reverse: The British flagship breaking through between two ships at anchor, into which she fires both her broadsides. Legend: 'ALMIGHTY GOD HAS BLESSED HIS MAJESTY'S ARMS.'
