Bristol halfpenny token. Obverse: A gate with turrets (right) and a port bow partial view of a full-rigged ship under sail passing behind; arms of the city. Legend: 'PROSPERITY TO THE CITY OF BRISTOL.' Reverse: Standing figure of Galen, his left hand resting on a stick, a serpent coiled round it. Legend: 'I. CHESTER. DRUGGIST & CHYMIST'.
