Halifax halfpenny token

Halifax halfpenny token. Obverse: Bust of King George III, laureate, in mantle (right). Legend: 'HALFPENNY TOKEN 1815'. Reverse: Starboard broadside view of a full-rigged ship under sail with a main-staysail set. Legend: 'PAYABLE BY JOHN ALEXR. BARRY . HALIFAX.'
The token comes from Halifax, Nova Scotia and was issued by John Alexander Barry who was a dry-goods merchant and local politician.
