Commemorative token of the Loyal Norfolk Yeomanry & Blofield Cavalry 1796.
The obverse displays an officer on horseback with his sword drawn. The legend reads 'LOYAL NORFOLK YEOMANRY.' and the exergue reads: 'MDCCXCVI.'
The reverse depicts a trophy of arms, drum, trumpets etc. The legend reads: 'BLOFIELD CAVALRY' and on a label is 'FIFTH TROOP.' The edge reads: 'FEAR GOD AND HONOUR THE KING.' The token is fitted with a loop and ring and is suspended from a piece of purple ribbon.
