High Seas Fleet Badge

Uniface badge. Within an oak leaf garland tied with a ribbon below, surmounted by an eagle, wings outstretched, a swastika at its feet (gilt), view of the bow and superstructure mounted with guns of a battleship in relief, a bow wave below, (iron). Reverse inscription: "R.S.& S". Instituted April 1943 to reward crews of battleships and cruisers for thirteen weeks active service at sea. Fitted with a pin.
