English delftware bowl hand-painted in blue with a ship under sail, painted below 'Success to the Emperor'. She wears an ensign, jack and swallow-tailed pennant. The inner border has panels of trelliswork and foliage. The outside of the bowl is painted with landscape decoration, and it has a brown rim.
