Jug
Brown, glazed earthenware toby jug, moulded as a half-length figure of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), in Rear-Admiral's uniform and wearing a hat, similar to the Doulton & Watts design. The stars of three orders are shown on the coat and the figure wears three medals, one inscribed 'NILE 1798'. The pigtail handle has no ribbon. The maker's mark is impressed on the base.
